What has been made political, let us make theological. For who can stand to live with choices such as “how would you like your chicken? Gay or straight?” There is really no such thing as a gay or straight sandwich. There is also no such thing as a restaurant that is not utterly reliant upon the hand of God’s provision. So, the President has a point. You didn’t really build that, at least not without help. And God, by his grace, continues to bring a harvest (although a diminished one this drought stricken year) so that we all get to eat chicken sandwiches.
